Presentation
“Partenaire” is a private association of consulting professionals, founded in May 2008 in the city of Lima (Peru). A number of consultants in Switzerland cooperate with the association.
“Partenaire” considers it as its mission to favor the unfolding of human capacities and competence, in order to create social scenarios that will contribute to civic behaviour in urban environments, to material and social development, to environmental sustainability and to less inequality. Favoring the encounter of civil society with the public realm is the focal point of the association’s goals.
The central working strategy of “Partenaire”is creating interfaces, scenarios of encounter. As a NGO, it does not substitute itself to anyone, neither to the state nor to the actors of civil society.
As “Partenaire” wants to facilitate social encounters, it endeavours to reduce the gaps between public and private spheres, between the micro and the macro world, between technical and political thinking, for it is these gaps that foster inequality. Therefore special attention is being payed to building bridges, to creating tool kits which the social and economic actors can rely on when they strive to find new and innovative opportunities, to create wealth, to foster social justice and to open up the access to social well-being.
“Partenaire” highly esteems the achievements of the globalized world, especially in technology and general knowledge, as they are most helpful in generating new sorts of activity. We are respectful of civic culture, of creativity, of all forms of cooperation and of social cohesion. For these are the key elements in constructing a humane and democratic society.
To public as well as to private actors, “Partenaire” offers the wide professional experience of its members and associate members, on regional, national and global questions.
